Respecto a lo acontecido en el norte, les doy la siguiente informacion de lo ke nuestra Cruz Roja esta haciendo por ayudar:
A contar del fuerte sismo ocurrido en la zona norte del país, que afecto particularmente a la Región de Antofagasta con magnitudes en torno a los VII grados en la escala de Mercalli, causando una gran afectación en las ciudades de Tocopilla y María Elena, Cruz Roja Chilena abrío todos sus canales de ayuda.
Desde el día 14 de noviembre voluntari@s de nuestra institución han trabajado en extensas jornadas, tanto en la zona de afectación como en la Región Metropolitana en pos de mejorar la situación de las miles de personas afectadas. El Centro Operativo de la Cruz Roja Chilena ha recolectado y despachado cerca de 50 toneladas de ayuda humanitaria, además de ser participe activo de todos los proceso de respuesta establecidos en nuestro país.
No esta de más recordar que se mantienen abiertas las lineas telefónicas (700 03 90 RM y 70 03 90 Regiones) además del Centro Operativo de nuestra institución para seguir apoyando las labores realizadas en la zona norte de nuestro país.
